Well…firstly welcome to my blog – a place where I aim to take you along with me on my holistic journey with MS.
I have had MS since about 1992 and have swayed between relapsing/remitting. I owe a lot thanks to the MS Society UK for supporting me through my diagnosis challenges in 1999 and 2008 onwards. Having got through a storm of being diagnosed twice with MS over a ten year period (yes, you read that correctly), I feel that I have experienced so many emotions…too many emotions. So I’m riding this as best I can and am often searching for calm waters. You can also follow me on Twitter @beachwomble where I post about everyday interests, as well as MS.
MS is as different for everyone as everyone is different.
MS is like the British weather – be prepared for anything.
Some of what I write, and live with, involve other long term health challenges:
Irritable Bowel Syndrome (IBS) which challenges my food intolerances. Sensory Processing Disorder (SPD) diagnosed in 2012 (which I have successfully worked through the treatment). Onset of Osteo Arthritis (OA) diagnosed in 2013 (confirmed by my request for the letter in 2015). Long term anxiety disorders diagnosed in 2015 (which I believe to be fixable).
